During my recent business trip to Cortona, I had the pleasure of staying at Monastero San Silvestro Villa, a hotel chosen by my director. I couldn't have been happier with the choice. One of the standout features of this beautiful property is its outdoor saltwater pool with breathtaking views of Cortona and the Valdichiana Valley. Whether it was a refreshing morning swim or unwinding after a long day of meetings, the pool provided a tranquil and picturesque setting that added a touch of luxury to my stay.
For me, the only minor drawback during my stay at Monastero San Silvestro Villa was the firmness of the bed.

I absolutely adored the Tuscan style of this charming house! As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel's general areas. The children working there were so kind and friendly, always ready to assist me during my stay.
If I could ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be more comfortable beds.

My stay at Monastero San Silvestro was absolutely delightful. The location was stunning and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The villa itself was beautifully appointed and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly loved the well-equipped kitchen and the serene and quiet environment. The swimming pool was a great addition, and the extra towels provided made it even more enjoyable. I had a wonderful time at this timeless gem.
While my stay was mostly perfect, I did find the bed to be a bit hard for my personal preference. Additionally, on one of the nights, there was some noise from a gardener cutting lawn edges for a few hours.

I absolutely loved the charming Tuscan style of the house. The rustic decoration and cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home. It was like stepping into a different era, with beautiful antique pieces of furniture and lovely details that added a touch of elegance. The general areas, such as the garden and terrace, were spacious and well-maintained, providing the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, as it was easy to navigate around the property and there were no stairs or obstacles that would make it difficult for me to get around.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people is if the children working there could provide additional assistance with luggage or any other needs that may arise. A little extra help would go a long way in ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay for older guests like myself.
